Calvary Baptist's Reading Challenge has begun! The challenge is open to all ages - children and adult. Adults may read to children who are non-readers. Anyone with vision or other problems that prevent reading may listen to an audio Bible or recorded book daily. Acceptable books are the Bible or non-fiction books concerning the Bible, Bible people, Christian living, Heaven, Christian teaching, Christian biographies, etc. OR Christian fiction depicting characters who depend on God to solve problems and to live life according to Biblical principles.
Children should strive to read or listen daily to Bible passages from the New Testament with the goal of reading through the New Testament in a year (excluding Revelation) OR one Christian chapter book per month OR 3 Christain picture books per month.
Adults should strive to read through the Bible in a year or a Christian non-fiction or fiction book of about 300 pages per month.
