In the English language, the word “you” can be singular or plural. In Greek, there is both a singular and a plural word for “you.” In this verse, the plural “you” is used, which means the church is the temple and the Holy Spirit dwells there among the worshippers. In the 1970s, John Denver and two cohorts wrote the song, “Country Roads, Take Me Home.” It was a popular song because all of us could identify with the yearning to go home.
