We hear people ask, "Is God real? Does He really care? Does trusting in God, in His Son, and in His Word really make a difference in your life?" The people of Calvary Baptist Church want you to know that God is indeed real and that He has changed us in so many ways. Now we wonder how anyone can manage the ups and downs, ins and outs of life without Him. Our testimonies tell what God has done in our lives.

Our first testimony is from Jo Alba. Jo was born in Brazil, and growing up, she went to church every week. She learned to pray at her mother's knee, but it wasn't until she was grown that she made the choice to let Jesus come into her heart and take control of her life. Jo has a beautiful testimony about how God can change a person and what He can do if we truly allow Him to reign in our hearts and lives.
Jo says, "I want to let the listeners know that I had no intention of offending anyone especially Catholic friends who I love dearly. This was my story and it was the truth just as I said. All of us have a different story and they fit perfectly well in God’s amazing tapestry of His kingdom. We come in different shape, sizes, colors and languages (and accents too), but God uses it all to bless others and further His Kingdom.
